# Zero hardware. Real-time captions on YouTube.

Maestro Console posts live CEA-608 closed captions straight to your YouTube ingestion URL — and the same keypress drives your surtitle projection and every language on your audience's phones.

## One keypress. Three destinations. No drift between them.

Space fires the cue. The projection jumps to that line, the stream gets the caption, and every connected phone updates — from one action, off one script, in every language the script holds.

### Above the stage

*OSC → Glypheo*

Maestro drives your existing Glypheo projection over OSC. It does not send "next" and hope — it sends the absolute cue number, so the screen is pinned to the line you just fired. Undo re-sends the earlier number and the projection follows it back.

Example: FR — “Gloire immortelle de nos aïeux”

### On the livestream

*HTTP POST → YouTube*

The cue is posted as a live CEA-608 caption to your YouTube ingestion URL — several streams at once if you run them. Nothing sits in the video path, so there is no capture card and no encoder to rack. A delay dial lines the captions up with the picture your viewers actually receive.

Example: EN — “Immortal glory of our forefathers”

### In the audience's hands

*SSE → audience phones*

Anyone on the house network opens one page and picks their language. Every language in the script reaches the phones — not only the two the stream can show — so the surtitles carry languages the projection has no room for. No app, no download, and nothing leaves the building.

Example: EN — “Immortal glory of our forefathers”; DE — “Unsterblicher Ruhm der Ahnen”; IT — “Gloria immortale dei nostri avi”

## How a performance runs

Three phases, and the only one that happens during the show is the middle one.

1. **Load the script.** Excel, CSV, plain text, SRT or PowerPoint. In a spreadsheet one row is one cue and each column is a language, so the languages cannot drift apart — they are the same row. Pick the one or two that go out on the stream; every other column goes to the phones.
2. **Run the show.** Space fires the current cue to all three destinations at once. Undo does not just step back — it re-fires the previous line, so the wrong caption is overwritten rather than left up. Escape clears the stream and the phones for instrumental passages.
3. **Hand over the recording.** Recording writes an SRT subtitle file for each stream language, timed from what actually happened on the night, alongside a performance log of every cue, undo and blackout that you can export when the curtain is down.

## See it run against your own script.

Send a scene and the languages you run, and you get it back as a working session rather than a slide deck.
